“Sometimes it is God’s will to leave you alone without any help. You may have to learn to live with impossible situations. People who can live peacefully in impossible situations will make great headway in the spiritual journey. You will come up against loneliness and existential dread. You may feel as if nobody in the world understands you or could help you and that God is a billion light-years away. All these things are part of the preparation process… The spiritual journey is a long trip.” —Open Mind, Open Heart by Thomas Keating
“You cheated on me with choreography and that’s the worst kind. YOU DANCED WITHOUT ME, MITCHELL” —Cameron from Modern Family

Man, I’ve been on a time warp all night. From Aaliyah, to Monica, and now one of my favorites: The Fugees! Bring back the 90’s!

They drive me nuts, but I love them very much! I’m going to miss my Ave 202 girl!

Though the world sees and soon forgets, we will not forget who You are, and what You’ve done for us. 🙏🙌

The beginning while I’m at the end…

In a couple hours, if I don’t wake up two hours after my alarm clock has rang, I will be in the process of submitting my first resume and cover letter to a school back home. I will be anointing the email with oil and saying a little prayer, while rebuking the spirit of rejection. That is what my mother would do. Anyway, I’m going to be realistic and say that it is just my first attempt in applying for a CAREER, so I will be sad, but understanding if I do not get the job. I better though, because I spent three hours on that cover letter and tweaking my resume. I’d hire me on the spot ☺. I’m nervous and excited! I’ll be writing more cover letters throughout this week and sending my resume to a couple more places, so I’ll be in business mode and super anxious. Well, here it goes… I’m beginning my career seeking process while at the end of my college career, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Hallelujah holla back!
